This ticket is for a disabled blue badge holder. For a disabled plus carer ticket please select the other ticket option that states 'disabled plus carer'.
Gates open 5pm for fast track and disabled and 5.30pm for everyone else.
Fast Track and Disabled enter via MARYGATE entrance.
Standard ticket holders enter via MUSEUM STREET entrance.
Ticket gives access to the lawned area to watch the concert. You will need to bring your own fold up picnic chairs. Picnics are welcome and we will also have catering on site.
Please select your required ticket type and ensure you have read and understood the terms and conditions before completing your order. Completing your order assumes acceptance of the terms and conditions.
Tickets are digital and you will need to either present your smartphone to show your downloaded tickets/email or Apple Wallet ticket with QR code to the gate staff, or print out your tickets and bring them with you. If you have any problems with this and are unable to get help from a friend or family member, you can also buy via the Visit York Information Centre in person or by calling 01904 909 487 to get your tickets printed out.
Terms and Conditions of Booking
- Refunds: Tickets are refundable up until three months before the event (before 26th April 2025) minus a £3 per ticket cancellation fee, and partially refundable until one month before )26th June 2026), subject to our refund policy schedule (see below and website FAQs for full details). To request a refund you must contact us before the deadline stated above. See below for more detailed information.
- Tickets may not be advertised online for sale. Attempts to do so will risk your ticket being cancelled without refund.
- Fast Track admission ticket holders enter 30 minutes before general admission ticket holders. Expected gate time for Fast Track is 5pm. Fast Track ticket holders who arrive after the general admission gate is opened will be able to enter immediately via the priority gate and will not have to join the back of the main queue. Standard ticket holders will enter at 5.30pm, or after everyone who joined the Fast Track ticket holders before 5pm queue has entered.
- Wheelchair users need to contact us to book a space in the wheelchair area if they want to sit in the designated wheelchair area, which is at the front of the lawned area. Wheelchair users will be assisted to the wheelchair area, with their helper, approximately 20 minutes before the gates open.
- No fireworks, disposable BBQs or naked flames are to be used inside the gardens.
- No smoking or vaping is permitted on the main viewing lawn.
- Dogs are not permitted, except assistance dogs. Please ensure assistance dogs can tolerate fireworks or leave ahead of the finale fireworks display.
- Children 5-15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. No more than 4 children under 10 per adult. Children under 5 are free of charge but do need to have a ticket booked.
- Large umbrellas are not permitted on the main lawn. In the case of rain forecasted, please bring coats with hoods, hats or ponchos. If an umbrella is obstructing the view of other people you will be asked to take it down.
- Bags may be searched on arrival. Refusal to allow your bag to be searched will result in entry being denied.
- Staff and security staff reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any persons under the influence of drugs or intoxicated to an unsafe level. Please drink responsibly.
- In the case of adverse weather, the event will not be cancelled and will go ahead. In the case of unsafe weather conditions that cause the event to be cancelled, tickets will be refunded. Specific conditions need to be met for event cancellation due to adverse weather and is at the discretion of our Health and Safety Manager, local council or local emergency services only. This standard cancellation policy does not apply in the event of a force majeure event beyond the promoter’s control, including, but not limited to, natural disaster, war, terrorism, epidemic, national mourning or act of local or national government. In such an event, please await our contact by email for next steps.
- It is your responsibility to check the up to date event information on our website ahead of leaving for the event, which will all be up to date and finalised no later than 7 days before the event, and read the final event information email sent out ahead of the event. In the event of potential seriously adverse weather (electrical storms or high winds), we will be posting regularly on social media and via email to keep everyone up to date with developments.
Refund Schedule
Tickets are refundable up to three months before the event, subject to a £3 per ticket cancellation fee, and partially refundable until one month before. The cancellation fees ensure we cover transaction fees incurred.
To request a refund, please email us at the earliest opportunity using the email address you used at the time of booking, or call the Visit York Information Centre on 01904 909 487. Notice period is calculated by confirmed contact, eg, date stamped email or Visit York Information Centre answerphone message. If you have not received a confirmation to your emailed cancellation request within 2 working days please contact again and ensure you are using the correct email address, as sometimes emails don't send successfully.
