Event Day Catering & Picnics

Every year we make sure we have a selection of caterers at the event to ensure people are well catered for, whether they don't wish to bring their own picnic or they finish it all by 7pm and get peckish later on!

Returning for 2025

Returning for 2025 will be The Sketch Box, offering filled flatbreads, hot dogs, ice cream, sweet treats and hot & cold drinks.

Picnics

Afternoon Tea Picnics by No.1 by Guesthouse Hotels, York.

Back by popular demand, picnics will be provided by No1 by Guest House again this year. The special luxury picnic is an afternoon tea packed up and delivered to the Museum Gardens to collect on the day. Featuring dainty finger sandwiches, sweet treats, scone with clotted cream and jam and a drink. Please visit the link below to find out more information and to book. Event Day Catering & Picnics 2026

Although we don't have the 2026 sponsorship and concessions brochure ready yet, you can read this year's brohure here: Sponsorship and Concessions Brochure.

If you would like to be considered for a catering pitch in 2026, please come back in September 2025 to take a look at the new brochure and to apply once the application process opens. Each year we look for: Hot food catering, bar, hot drinks concessions x 2, ice cream concessions.

We don't have options for selling items like clothing or souvenirs, unless you are already one of our sponsors.
